I'm Phylicia, the founder and wax specialist behind Elixir Skyn. I created this space to offer something different, a warm, judgment-free zone where every appointment feels like catching up with a friend who just happens to specialize in expert hair removal. After gaining experience both locally and abroad, I knew Nassau needed a waxing studio that felt welcoming and upbeat, complete with carefully curated playlists to set the vibe. I know waxing can be intimidating, so I've developed a gentle, virtually painless technique designed to keep you comfortable from start to finish. My goal is to transform how you think about waxing and show you why so many clients trust Elixir Skyn for their hair removal needs. I can't wait to meet you!

OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY

Because we work so closely with our clients, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene is non-negotiable. Here's what you can always expect from us:

· All tools including tweezers and scissors are thoroughly disinfected with hospital-grade solution and stored in sealed sterilization pouches between uses

· Every treatment bed is disinfected and sanitized after each appointment, with fresh protective paper and disposable towels for every client

· Complimentary hygiene wipes available for your personal use (fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and free from harsh chemicals)

· Strict no double dipping policy—ever

· Hand sanitizer readily available in for both client and staff use

· Disposable, latex-free gloves worn for all body waxing services

Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, every single visit.

POLICIES

We understand life happens! We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to ensure we can accommodate all clients efficiently. Last-minute changes are understandable, and we'll work with you to find a new appointment time.

DEPOSITS:

A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments, which goes toward your service cost. The remaining balance is paid in cash at your appointment. Deposits are forfeited for same-day cancellations or rescheduling. Services $20 and under require full payment at booking.

REMAINING BALANCE:

The remaining balance can be paid at your appointment via:

· Cash, credit card or debit Card

Please note: If paying the balance by transfer at your appointment, please complete the transfer before your service begins.

RESCHEDULING:

We allow one complimentary reschedule with 24+ hours notice. Same-day rescheduling incurs a $10 fee. A second same-day reschedule forfeits your deposit and a new deposit is required to rebook. We respect your time; we ask that you respect ours.

We allow a 5-minute grace period. Arriving more than 5 minutes late my result in a shortened service time or will be treated as a same-day cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited. If only part of your scheduled services can be completed, the full original balance still applies. If all services are completed, a $10 late fee will be added.

CANCELLATION:

You are considered a cancellation if:

· You don't show up for your appointment

· You arrive 5 minutes after your scheduled appointment time and we cannot accommodate your full service.

· You cancel with less than 24 hours notice

Please note: We cannot guarantee appointments for late arrivals, and you may forfeit your time slot.

NO SHOWS:

· Failing to arrive for your scheduled appointment without notice is considered a no-show

· No-shows forfeit the entire deposit

· A new deposit is required to book any future appointments

· Multiple no-shows may require full prepayment for future services

Please note: We understand emergencies happen. If you must cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, please text us immediately.

OTHER POLICIES:

Only one client is allowed in the service room at a time due to space limitations and privacy. The exception is minors under 17 who may be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All product sales are final - no returns accepted.

If you're not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right!

For safety and comfort of all clients, we respectfully request no children under 12 accompany adults to appointments.
